The village of
Morin-heights
Morin Heights is a quiet old-fashioned town which is well worth the 10-minute drive North from St-Sauveur. In the winter, Morin Heights offers some of the best cross-country skiing in the region with over 175 kms. of interconnecting trails.
It also provides an outdoor skating ring, as well as downhill skiing and snowboarding at Ski Morin Heights.
Come summer, one can enjoy horseback riding, the municipal beach and playground as well as a pedestrian and a cycling trail of the renowned aerobic corridor. In June/July, many activities also attract visitors, such as: Fête de la Saint-Jean, Canada Day Festivities, Arts festival and 'Shakespeare in the Park'.
